District Clothing Size Chart – Overview

To help make ordering clothing items online convenient and appropriate to ensure the best fit for you, please follow the 2-step process guidelines below and reference the applicable District Size Chart.

1- Obtain your chest or bust measurement

You will need a cloth tape measure to take the measurements and having another person assist you in the process can be very helpful. Ensure that the cloth tape measure is horizontal when taking the circumference measurement. Measurement is taken in inches.

Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest or bust, under the armpit.   NOTE: These other measurements are provided for your convenience when other measurements are required. Neck/Collar: Measure around the neck about 1 inch above the meeting of the neck and top of the shoulder. This will be at the bottom part of Adam’s apple. Waist: Measure around the waist at the level of the smallest circumference. Hips: Standing with feet together, measure around the largest circumference at hips. This will be at the fullest part of the buttocks. Sleeve: With elbow slightly bent, measure from the center (back) of the neck, over the shoulder, past the elbow and down to the wrist. Inseam: When standing, measure from the center of the crotch to the bottom of the ankle bone on the medial (inner) side of the ankle.

2- Refer to the appropriate sizing chart (Adult, Women’s, or Youth & Girls) to identify the size that will be the best fit for you.
