University of Oregon's school colors are UO Green (#007030) and UO Yellow (#FEE11A). Oregon's brand standards define 16 colors in all; every official HEX, RGB, CMYK and Pantone value is listed below, along with the story of how the colors were chosen.
History of the Oregon colors
Green and yellow are the University of Oregon's institutional colors. When Oregon played its first football game, against Albany College in the spring of 1894, the team had no mascot and was known simply as the "lemon yellow," after the accent color of its uniforms, according to the UO Libraries' Special Collections and University Archives. The university's current brand guide describes its palette as rooted in nature and drawn from the Oregon environment. We could not find an official university source documenting when or how green was formally adopted.
